Disney: Playhouse Disney UK
Project description
Disney Channel commissioned Atticmedia to completely redevelop the Playhouse Disney website. Creating an environment aimed at pre-school children to play, learn and explore.
We created an archipelago of islands for the individual Disney characters and also created a guide character "Flitter" for the site. Flitter encourages the user to explore and find secret games throughout the islands.
A great deal of work has been put into the creation of the branded islands and also the content they contain. A series of environmental based games were developed with educational content to act as soft learning for the audience.
The site is currently in the process of being rolled out across Europe and is being translated into seven different languages.
